LiKe Healthcare Research GmbH

Healthcare services research includes, for example, analysing healthcare services provided to the general population, or to a selected population; developing and scientifically monitoring new care concepts; and evaluating new forms of care under everyday conditions.
A variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods are applied in order to find answers to research questions posed.
Issues of interest may include the use of healthcare services, the improvement of quality of life, and the reduction of costs.
LiKe Healthcare Research GmbH takes charge of all the activities accruing in this field, ranging from development, conceptual design and implementation to analysis and preparation of the results according to the requirements defined by the health policy, by service providers, health insurance companies or the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries, and by other stakeholders in the healthcare system.
Scope of our Services
Evaluations are an important element of healthcare services research as they assess the effectivity, the efficiency, and the feasibility of (new) forms of care. The outcome evaluation examines different outcomes, such as disease activity, the decrease of symptoms, or the improvement of quality of life. The health economic evaluation includes the analysis of costs of illness or the cost-benefit ratio of new interventions. The process evaluation focuses on the scientific monitoring during the implementation.
LiKe Healthcare Research GmbH provides you with a global evaluation of your idea – including an outcome evaluation, a health economic evaluation and a process evaluation. To this end, we often use a mixed-methods design that applies quantitative and qualitative research methods skilfully combined in order to collect and assess data.
Scope of our Services
The digitalisation in the healthcare sector opens up a broad spectrum of ways to improve the quality of care in the healthcare sector. Digital health applications (DiGA), digital care applications (DiPA), robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) are being used more frequently to support the healthcare sector in order to improve the quality of care and to reduce costs. Digital solutions are often an essential element of complex interventions.
Scope of our Services
Complex interventions consist of a range of interacting components and bring together numerous involved groups (of patients), service providers, organisations, or other stakeholders from various contexts and settings in the healthcare system. Complex interventions often require an interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral care approach in order to ensure a coordinated and continuous care program.
Scope of our Services
Interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral care is an approach aiming to improve the quality of care. The cooperation among various disciplines from different sectors, where required, allows an integrated, coordinated and continuous patient care that meets the specific needs of the individual person concerned. In the recent past, the idea of an interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral care has also reflected in relevant networks.
Scope of our Services
The German healthcare sector has registered an increase in multi-disciplinary care networks, involving a variety of service providers, such as physicians from various disciplines, psychotherapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, pharmacists, and other stakeholders in the healthcare sector, and striving to improve patient care.
