  • The description of the web browser used and of the operating system;

  • The IP address of the requesting device, shortened in such a way that it does not allow any references to the requesting person.

We use the log data for statistical purposes in order to improve the quality of our website. This analysis of the log data will be done in an anonymised manner.

The legal basis for our data processing are Section 25(2)2 TDDDG (German Telecommunication Digital Services Data Protection Act) and Art. 6(1)f GDPR.

We process your data based on our legitimate interest to provide you with the content of our website, to ensure an optimised presentation on the device and browser you use, and to continuously improve the quality of our website.

Furthermore, we store your complete IP address, which we automatically receive from your web browser, for the duration of seven days and only for our specific legitimate interest to be able to detect, limit, and eliminate cyber-attacks. At the end of this period, we will delete the IP address or make it anonymous. The legal basis for our data processing is Art. 6(1)f GDPR.

Required cookies

We use cookies on our website, which are necessary to make our website available to you. Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your device and can be read subsequently. There is a difference between session cookies, which will be deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which will be stored beyond the individual session. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to ensure a high level of protection of your data against any unwanted access. We use an encryption method on our website. The online transmission of your data from your device to our servers and vice versa will be protected using a TLS encryption. This is usually indicated by a closed lock symbol in the status bar of your browser and by the fact that the site’s address starts with https://.

Retention period

Unless you have been informed about the retention period elsewhere, we will delete personal data when it is no longer required for the mentioned processing purposes and no legitimate interests or statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.
